Waldo Canyon Fire - Historic Triple B Ranch is OPEN for business!

At this point in time, the ranch continues to be safe from the fire. Please be assured that the ranch is open for business and does plan to live up to the reservations that are in place….also, the ranch will happily accept new reservations for horseback riding or lodging!

The ranch borders and has a permit with Pike National Forest.  This area of the forest truly does remain as beautiful as ever with scenery and wildlife! 

Although the images on the news are devastating, the forest around the ranch does remain free of fire at this point and accessible for horseback rides (pictured above).

offering the following discounts to

Waldo Canyon Fire Evacuees!!

 

The following information was taken from the Woodland Park Chamber of Commerce and serves as a good summary for where the Woodland Park community stands with regards to the fire:

 

We are at the height of our season, with many visitors already in the area or on their way in the next few weeks. Those visitors and our locals are eager for information and need to be aware that there are still multiple ways they can enjoy their destination. We'd like to share the following talking points you can use for inquiries from individuals and groups who may have concerns about coming Woodland Park and the Teller County Region. We want to encourage them to maintain their travel plans, even if they have to be adjusted slightly:

 

·        Woodland Park/Teller County and Park County are OPEN for business!

·        As a precaution, a handful of area attractions in the Colorado Springs and Ute Pass are have been closed temporarily

·        Here are a few of the Chamber member restaurants in Woodland Park that are OPEN: Denny's, Casa Granda, Circle H Smokehouse, Historic Ute Inn, Joannie's, Mangia Mangai, and Swiss Chalet. There are other restaurants opened in the region that may not be listed here.

·        Our Lodging and RV facilities are OPEN. Their guests are staying and enjoying their time here.

·        Our Attractions like the Dinosaur Resource Center, the Wolf Center, Fossil Beds, M Lazy C, Triple B Ranch, Tarryall River Ranch and more in Teller/Park County are OPEN! There are many, many more OPEN!

·        Cripple Creek is OPEN!

The ranch is still operating as per usual and plans on upholding the reservations that are in place by providing the services and facilities that currently are reserved.  However, we understand that some people may choose to cancel their reservation.  Our cancellations policies are being upheld at this time and the deposit that was taken at the time of booking remains nonrefundable.
